90 Day Fiance’s Akinyi Obala does not have its own children. As her relationship with Benjamin Taylor progresses, her presence in his son’s life will be something they should focus on in the future. Recently the Kenyan beauty went to Instagram and shared her thoughts about what it would mean for her to play a greater role in his life.
Akinyi Obala was honest with 90 Day Fiance fans about how she feels. She said she was “scared” to take on the role of stepmother. Especially considering that she herself has no children. But she didn’t say she was against the idea. She is scared and wants to build a real relationship with Benjamin’s son before she ever takes on a bigger role.
90 Day Fiance: Akinyi Wants to Be Friends First
Akinyi Obala made her thoughts clear about what it takes to build a relationship in her eyes. When the basis of a relationship starts with friendship, she thinks this is a strong basis to build on. And although the 90 Day Fiance star said she knows nothing about being a stepmother or having children, she is open to the possibility of starting as friends with the son of Benjamin Taylor and going from there.
Family is very important to Akinyi. As well as in the hierarchy of Kenyan culture. 90 Day Fiance fans saw this in the way her family protected her when it came to the introduction of Benjamin. Akinyi said she can’t start “mother duties” without first having a basic friendship. She left her post and asked for advice. And she seems genuinely open to learn everything she can.
