90 Day Fiance’s Benjamin and Akinyi are one of the new couples this season on Before the 90 Days. Akinyi recently broke her silence and called both Benjamin and TLC after the American man’s arrival in Kenya. The Kenyan 90-day fiance discussed her husband and the network on her Instagram. What did she have to say about how it went?
90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days Akinyi Goes off on Benjamin
Akinyi went to Benjamin online because he didn’t stand up online for her or her family members. In the current season of the show, Benjamin just landed abroad. Akinyi said he would be the first white man to visit her village. And there has been a lot of hype about the culture clash. But it seems that there is much more going on behind the scenes.
90 Day Fiance: before the 90 days, the spoiler clips flushed throughout the season through the encounter between Benjamin and Akinyi’s brother. Some TLC viewers find her brother intimidating. But that is one of the things that Akinyi spoke out against online. According to Akinyi, Benjamin was “warmly welcomed” by her family when he arrived in Kenya. She added that she is still waiting for her American love to make the record public. But she said he likes to look like the “innocent” network cameras that make him.
90 Day Fiance: Is the Network to Blame?
This is often the case with 90 Day Fiance stars to fly against episodes. They have no control over how scenes are merged and how the latest episodes end. In addition to calling Benjamin for his decision to remain silent, Akinyi went into TLC to make her family and her country look bad. The Kenyan woman said her culture is “beautiful.” She wished she was the one responsible for composing her scenes. In her eyes, the 90 Day Fiance team dropped the ball completely.
Akinyi further said that she is just as surprised as viewers when she watches the show. She added that her people are “very hospitable”. But thanks to the processing, the end product does not make that clear. Akinyi is “lively” about how things look on television. On the camera, her family seems to treat her poorly. And they look negative. Akinyi blames this for the adaptation and the “innocent American” story. Moreover, Akinyi said that her family is “nothing but the best.”
What Happens Now?
It is hard to say at this point what upset Akinyi – the assembly or Benjamin who does not stand up for her and her family. Whether his silence drives a wedge in their relationship will be something to be aware of. Calling up network editing is a common practice for many cast members. And it seems that Akinyi is the newest one that displays that.
Currently on 90 Day Fiance: before the 90 days, Benjamin tries to impress the family of Akinyi and to think of a way to pay the ‘wedding price’. But everything that could go down the toilet when going south, because Ben doesn’t stand up for his 90 Day Fiance love.
