Sunday’s 90 day fiance: before the 90-day final episode on TLC was more intense than many viewers had imagined.
From Darcey Silva’s attempts to reconnect with Tom Brooks after her rocky visit to the UK and Albania to the aftermath of the shockingly short engagement of Benjamin Taylor and Akinyi Obala, this is what happened during the eventful October 27 final of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 days.
Tom Brooks and Darcey Silva
44-year-old Darcey Silva struggled to maintain her long-term relationship with British boyfriend, Tom Brooks, after she returned to her home state of Connecticut.
“Long-distance relationships are challenging,” she admitted, before saying she would not “give up” her roller coaster relationship with Brooks.
Silva met at the airport with her twin sister Stacey, with whom she was not exactly divorced in the best way after their awkward extended double date in Albania. Silva admitted that she had just been insecure because her sister was engaged (to her Albanian friend Florian Sukaj) and she wasn’t.
“This is the test,” she said. But TLC cameras caught up with Silva a few weeks later and it seemed that the test had failed.
“When I left England, I felt so loved,” she shared. “But now it’s hard to find Tom. I’m a little confused, a little upset … I need to know what he really thinks about me. “
“This long-distance thing somehow doesn’t fit,” Brooks told her during a tense phone call. He also seemed upset by how much she reached out to him and said, “You can’t call people at five.”
“I feel like I can’t give this love whenever you want,” Brooks continued. Then he dropped a bomb: “From my perspective, right now in my life, the way I see it, I’d rather be single and be your friend.” The couple seemed to put an end to that.
Benjamin Taylor and Akinyi Obala
We last saw Akinyi Obala, from Kenya, upset because Benjamin Taylor did not tell his family (from Arizona) that he was married. Although he had finally sent a text message to his family at the request of his new bride, Taylor admitted that “it was tough last night.” And although he said he had no “regrets,” Taylor’s feelings were not really convincing.
While Obala was crying openly when her husband returned to the US to get her visa in order, Taylor’s reaction seemed a little more subdued. Yet he shared: “I don’t really want to say goodbye, but I don’t think any amount of time will ever be enough for when you’re in love.”

Rebecca Parrott and Zied Hakimi
90 Day Fiancé viewers left Rebecca Parrott (originally from Georgia) and See Hakimi of Tunisia on what was meant to be a romantic getaway in the desert. They were dealing with the aftermath or Rebecca’s bombshell that she’s technically still married to her Moroccan ex-husband.
Hakimi shared that he decided to continue with the relationship despite Parrott’s dishonesty. “I thought about ending it all at once,” he admitted, “but Rebecca explained the precise situation and, as a Muslim man, I consider her divorced.”
Hakimi then proposed on a rug on the desert sands, saying, “I love you so much,” and Rebecca gladly accepted. Hakimi shared, too, that’s gotten the ring with money from his sister. “I’ve never been so certain about our relationship before,” Parrott gushed.
When they parted, Hakimi admitted that Parrott had pushed his limits, but he still loved her. Parrott, for her part, left concerned that the fiancee would find someone his own age. She also worried that his family would try to break up their union during the lengthy visa process to come.
“The worst possible thing that could happen is that we can’t make it through this process,” she explained, “and everything we’ve gone through is for nothing.”
Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi
When we met Deem, a 90 day fiancé, before the 90 day cast member, during the final episode, she was about to go home to Georgia after visiting her fiancée Michael Ilesanmi in Nigeria.
Before she left, she wondered if the couple would make it, given their concerns about having children in the future because of their age difference.
She also warned Ilesanmi not to break her trust by flirting with women on social media because the couple has struggled with confidence in the past.
Omar Albakour and Avery Mills
Avery Mills from Columbus, Ohio, only converted a year or so before her appearance on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. But the 19-year-old already married the Syrian fiancé Omar Albakour after a whirlwind of online romance and a short visit to his home country.
In the final, Mills and Albakour struggled to reconnect in the aftermath of the news that it would be difficult if not impossible for the latter to come to the US because of the Syrian travel ban.
“Do you think you could be away from me for a few years and still want to marry me?” Mills asked her husband during a video call. “I don’t know,” he confessed, adding that it would be “very difficult” to be away from his wife for so long. Destroyed, shared: “I doubt how strong our love really was.”
“I’m giving up on America,” Albakour finally said after some thought. The young couple decided that Mills would leave the US to join her husband again, but she was deeply saddened by the prospect of leaving her close family behind.
Caesar Mack and Maria
Despite reports and rumors that Caesar Mack’s performance on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days was planned and performed beforehand and that she was not at all real, the infamous Maria finally appeared for the final episode of the show.
“Hello, my name is Maria. I’m 28 years old and from Ukraine, “she began. She joined the international date site Anastasia Date because, in her words: “Many boys around the world want to date with Ukrainian girls. They are beautiful and crazy. “
She also admitted that at first she was not physically attracted to Mack and that she had seen other men while she was talking to him. “If I don’t have a ring on my hand, I’m free,” she said.
“How much money did Caesar send you over time?”, Her friends asked during a meeting with Mack’s online girlfriend. “I don’t know. I never counted,” she shared.
When TLC producers asked Maria if she was really planning o
