90 Day Fiancé: Kalani Faagata Is Hoping For A Fresh Start

Fans just can’t get enough of TLC’s hit series 90 Day Fiancé, so new spin-offs and seasons of the franchise keep popping up. Much of the hype surrounding the series is due to the larger-than-life personalities on screen, as viewers get swept up in the twisting romances and played-out drama.

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?” Season 6 picks up with several fan-favorite couples to see where life has taken these reality series stars since their debut.

According to the TV channel, “Viewers can expect to see ‘plenty of painful realities and unexpected obstacles as [the couples] continue to navigate cultural differences, relatives, transgressions and the like’,” reports BBC Gossip.

Some of the confirmed couples are Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi, Elizabeth Potthast and Andrei Castravet, Tiffany Franco and Ronald Smith and – last but not least – Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa, who also starred in season five and met while Kalani Faagata was on holiday in Samoa. They became pregnant on the trip and have since welcomed two sons into their family. But as the drama between the couple continued in the premiere of season 6, viewers were left wondering.

To date, the once dynamic duo are seriously struggling with their hastily concluded marriage. In the first episode, their constant cycle of ups and downs is on full display. In the latest distress, in order to save their union, they contemplate making another hefty purchase.

According to TV Insider, Kalani’s main motivation to move into a new building is to give and Asuelu Pulaa a fresh start. With kids on the table, neither star wants to give up just yet. In addition, Kalani Faagata wants to give her husband the space he so desperately wants. “I just want to have my own space, take care of my family, not worry and not be uncomfortable with other people,” Asuelu Pulaa said.

However, Kalani Faagata’s sister Kolini Faagata, who has never jumped on the Asuelu Pulaa bandwagon, is coming to visit and is already planning a divorce party. Will moving into a brand new basement be enough to make this marriage last? Or is it just a band-aid that Kolini Faagata will soon rip off? We’ll have to wait and see.
