Kayla confirmed the couple’s dichotomy in an interview with RadarOnline on Monday, just about six weeks after Kayla and Jay finally admitted publicly that they were more than just friends.
“We were happy, we always had a good time”, Kayla told RadarOnline. “We didn’t fight, we still behaved like best friends.”
However, Kayla claimed that she “always did much more for him” than he did for her.
“Deep down, I think he’s a good person, but he’s just lost,” Kayla explained on the website.
“He just moved on his own motives and I had mine too. We are different people who appreciate different things.”
“He’s a mess,” she added. “I wish him peace.”
Jay’s estranged wife Ashley Martson told us weekly that Jay and Kayla started to the best of their knowledge in January 2019.
Kayla had started a GoFundMe account to reportedly raise money for an immigration lawyer to get Jay out of US immigration and customs enforcement after his arrest in early July and later attended a subsequent court hearing to support him.
Although Kayla claimed she was only a “good friend” when she created the GoFundMe account, she omitted all the pretexts that she and Jay were not romantically involved when he was released from ICE custody on July 31.
“My f-cking baby. So happy, so grateful,” she endorsed an Instagram video that walked up to Jay and jumped into his arms and was bothering him about his release.
Rumors swirled last month that Kayla was pregnant with Jay’s child, but soon after rumors followed.
Some fans have read the timing of the split of Kayla and Jay, since Jay and his ex, Ashley Martson, were reportedly seen during the same weekend in Pennsylvania.
“God help him when he messes with Ashley again,” Kayla told RadarOnline.
“All I can think of is all the hard work to undo the damage. There is a current PFA. If she turns it on again, he will be so f-cked. I don’t know why he would put himself in that position. .. I feel sorry for him. “
When asked if she believes Jay Ashley was still seeing during their relationship, she replied, “He was loyal for a while and good for me for a while, but that’s all I want to say.”
Ashley applied for a second divorce from Jay on April 23, but the couple’s split is not yet complete.
The divorce petition claims that Jay – whose formal name is Conroy and is referred to as such in the trial – committed adultery during their 11-month marriage.
Jay admitted to the Tell-All special of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? In the fourth season he had deceived Ashley with two women, but rumors circulated months earlier about his alleged numerous affairs and flings.
According to Ashley, Jay left her home in Pennsylvania at the end of May and was arrested by the local police at the beginning of July for violating a protection order she had received against him.
Ashley claimed in an interview with Celebuzz that Jay’s arrest was the result of a burglary and subsequent anger on social media.
Ashley claimed that Jay had broken into her house while she was away at the end of June on a very published vacation.
Once Ashley came home from her one-week cruise to the Bahamas, she reportedly called the police and was instructed to file an order for protection against abuse, which she followed on July 1.
Jay was not allowed to talk about the PFA or Ashley on social media platforms at all, but he ended up on social media the following day and published an elongated outburst of anger.
Ashley then informed the police, who issued an arrest warrant for Jay after they had investigated his social media reports and found that he had violated the warrant.
Jay was then detained without incident on July 3 by Upper Allen Township police.
Jay was allegedly released without bail by the court after his arrest, but since ICE also had an active order for Jay’s arrest for his immigration status, he was handed over to the federal agency, which then handed him over to York County prison in Pennsylvania.
According to Ashley, Jay’s arrest for the PFA violation had only accelerated his arrest by US immigration and customs enforcement, allegedly planning to detain Jay on July 8 because of his outstanding order.
Ashley told Celebuzz that ICE had been looking for Jay since June 28 since he has been living illegally in the United States since she withdrew his status paper adjustment earlier this year.
Jay’s PFA violation hearing took place on July 17.
Public records indicate that Jay was found guilty of Contempt For Violation or Order of Agreement, and he was immediately conditionally released by the state court but ordered to pay a fine and to abide by the existing protection against abuse.
However, since Jay was already detained by US immigration and customs enforcement pending his deportation hearing, he was instead taken back to federal detention where he remained until his release on bail on July 31.
Jay’s boss Daryl Bingaman – who bears the name “Ego” and is the owner of the Ego Ink tattoo shop in Lemoyne, PA – has posted his $ 4,500 deposit.
Kayla apparently believes she has avoided a bullet by no longer being with Jay.
“I am proud of myself for loving him and doing what I did for him,” Kayla RadarOnline said about her support during his legal problems.
“Whether he appreciates it or not … he needed me and I will always be that person. Everyone I love will have unconditional love and support and he cannot take it from me.”
Ashley and Jay, who married in 2018, started season 6 of TLC’s 90 Day Fiance in the lead role before appearing on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?
