90 Day Fiance: Sumit’s Parents Forced Him into Arranged Marriage
All year long at 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Sumit calls his parents to Jenny Slatten. If everything that TLC has revealed is true, it was certainly a bigger case than Sumit just lays down his feet and comes up against them. The Indian 90 Day Fiance came clean and said he “lied a lot to everyone”. At the time of filming, he said that he had been with his wife for almost three years.
On 90 Day Fiance, sumit revealed that his parents had set up the marriage while he was with Jenny Slatten. And that he often wanted to tell her. He told TLC that he had not revealed the truth because he was afraid of losing the Californian woman. But the can of worms is open on The Other Way and Jenny Slatten knows it.
90 Day Fiance: Who is to Blame?
A fellow Indian recently sat online at arranged marriages in India. In many cases, it’s not just a matter of standing up against your parents. Both families get to know each other well and there are expectations from both sides. Those who choose love marriages often do so at the expense of their families if they do not approve. Turning back on the family often leads to both emotional and economic consequences.
The 90 Day Fiance plot gets thicker when it is revealed that the members of Sumit have taken him hostage in their home and forbid him from contacting 90 Day Fiance love Jenny Slatten. And when they were asked to appear in front of TLC cameras, they refused. Moreover, it appears that the friends of Sumit knew that he was married. And, one of his friends said, although Sumit did nothing illegal by choosing his American love, his in-laws can make false claims and keep him behind bars.
Sumit even said that his in-laws could address his family to pressurize him to keep getting married. But he is ready to risk going to jail to be with Jenny Slatten. The scenes of Sumit in the most recent episode of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way are certainly dramatic. And there may be questions about how much is real and how much was exaggerated for the cameras. Anyway, it looks like Sumit is finally choosing Jenny Slatten. And, in his words, there is no turning back.
