90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Couple Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee introduced their son, Taeyang Lee, to the world after his birth in April 2019 had just appeared in the latest installment of the TLC spin-off.
Deavan has just shared a photo of her smiling baby boy on Instagram on Wednesday.
“Someone is happy to be awake, our little Taeyang is now 4 months old. # 90dayfiancetheotherway # 90dayfiance”, Deavan, who is also the mother of daughter Drascilla, wrote the sweet photo.
Deavan first introduced her son to Instagram on Tuesday by sharing two photos of a newborn photo shoot in which Taeyang was wrapped in a sweater and cuddled in a soft blanket.
“Our beautiful Taeyang Scuti Lee, I am so blessed to have you in my life. Mama loves you so much. I am so happy that I can finally show you our miracle to the world. You are so loved by mommy , dad and sissy. # 90dayfiancehappilyever after # 90dayfiance # 90dayfiancetheotherway # 90dayfiance #newborn #newbornshoot, “Deavan subtitled the photos on Tuesday.
That same day Deavan also shared an image in which Taeyang was lying on her chest in the hospital when he had an oxygen tube in his nose.
“This is a photo of the first time I could finally hold you. I had to have 36 weeks of emergency 36 weeks after the original planned c-section,” Deavan wrote next to the image.
“When you came out, you made two holes in your lungs by screaming [too] loudly. It was a very difficult time for me. I was in the hospital for five days all by myself, but I had you, I brought my hold your hand throughout your hospital stay in a wheelchair next to your NICU bed. “
Deavan concluded: “I didn’t sleep, I just wanted to be so close to you that nurses begged me to rest. You are my everything I love so much. # 90dayfiancetheotherway # 90dayfiance.”
The c-section of Deavan was featured in the Monday night episode of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way.
As the arrival of Taeyang was two weeks early because Deavan had dangerously high blood pressure during her pregnancy,
Jihoon missed the birth of his son because he had refused to buy new last-minute tickets and lost the money from his originally planned, non-refundable flight to America.
The couple had agreed to video chat so that Jihoon could at least see his son’s birth, but it was difficult and “heartbreaking” for Deavan, since the operation was a high risk and her partner could not be by her side.
Jihoon also admitted that he felt “a bad father” because he was not there for Deavan during such an important time in her life.
The operation apparently lasted about six minutes in total and the doctors told Deavan when her baby arrived that he was “big”, “handsome” and “so perfect.”
Both Deavan and Jihoon apparently felt an overwhelming sense of love and joy.
The broadcast ended with Jihoon traveling to the United States and holding his baby for the first time.
Deavan admitted there were cameras that she was “extremely angry” with Jihoon for missing the birth, but when her family finally got together, she just enjoyed the moment and took in everything.
“When I get home with him, I get so happy. He always smiles and has completely stolen my heart!” Deavan told us every week.
And Jihoon told the magazine, “I hope to be the best dad I can be. I’m nervous, but I know I’ll be the best dad.”
