According to Paul, Karine told him she no longer wants him in her life and she has retained a divorce lawyer.
Paul revealed the news in a few Facebook posts that have since been deleted, which he posted Friday night, according to screenshots made by his followers.
“Karine asked me to delete our photos. And let everyone know she doesn’t want me in her life,” he wrote in his first Facebook post.
Paul also wrote a subsequent placement in a mix of Portuguese and English.
“Karine advogado de divorcio me ligou. I think I need a lawyer,” he wrote.
Translated into the English text: “Karine’s divorce lawyer called me.”
Soon after, Paul appears to have deleted both messages and to have deactivated his Facebook account.
His Instagram account still remains active, but all Karine’s photos seem to have been deleted.
The speculation that the 90 day fiance’s volatile relationship was once again on the rocks began for the first time last week when Paul posted an Instagram story claiming Karine threatened him with divorce.
“Keeping a survey strictly out of curiosity. For someone I know very well … Should a wife divorce her husband over his mother who buys gifts every day to spoil their son?” he wrote in the Instagram story.
‘A grandmother must be banned from seeing her grandchildren to spoil them. And a husband divorced for defending his mother’s actions? “
Although Paul apparently tried to play it as if the scenario happened to another couple, most of his Instagram followers knew better because the social media messages from the 90 Day Fiance couple openly showed that they are currently in the neighborhood from Paul’s mother in Louisville, Kentucky living area with their son Pierre Martins Staehle.
It therefore seemed that Karine was angry with Paul’s mother for “pampering” her son and with Paul for choosing his mother’s side, threatening to divorce Paul.
The majority of Paul’s followers answered “No” to his poll questions.
Prior to the poll, Paul’s last Instagram post had been in mid-September when he shared a series of images showing Pierre in his cradle with Karine taking care of him.
After welcoming their first child together on March 22, Karine and her son would have moved to America with Paul in June because eyewitnesses had posted pictures showing the 90 Day Fiance couple together at Louisville airport together in mid-June shown.
Paul had revealed in an Instagram story in February that Karine had received a CR-1 marital visa that allowed her to come to the United States.
After the couple was photographed at the airport, Karine had confirmed her location by posting Instagram photos where Paul and himself were visiting local attractions in Louisville.
Among the photos there was one who posed Paul, Karine, their baby and Paul’s mother for a photo in front of the Louisville Zoo entrance.
Karine had also shared a photo of the outside of the Hard Rock Cafe in Louisville, suggesting that the couple also visited the city’s Fourth Street Live entertainment and shopping complex.
Paul later shared a family photo of Karine, the baby and himself during a cookout on July 4.
The 90 day fiancé couple continued to post photos of themselves on Instagram regularly until September.
As 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way viewers know, Karine previously intended to divorce Paul before the birth of their son.
90 Day Fiance: The episodes of The Other Way showed that Paul and Karine started a burst fight days before Karine gave birth, and the consequences of the argument – including a lot of anger on the part of Karine – continued into what should have been one of the best days of their lives.
“I really want a divorce. I’m tired of what Paul is doing to me,” Karine told 90 Day Fiance producers.
“He lives in the past and too many battles break up a relationship. There is no hope left. I am thinking of my son now.”
However, Karine later decided to give Paul a second chance after being a great support system for her in the delivery room during the birth of their child.
“It was an extreme roller coaster,” Paul told the 90 Day Fiance cameras when Paul’s mother visited the couple in Brazil a few weeks after the baby’s arrival.
“[I] shouted mother,” I’m getting divorced, I’m coming home, I’m on the next flight home “- and now here we are, all happy together as a family.”
After meeting each other online, Paul and Karine met each other online and fell in love despite the fact that they could not communicate well with each other.
They originally appeared in the first season of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, which was broadcast on TLC in 2017.
Paul and Karine got married in 2017, but their marriage was not broadcast until the following year on season 2 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days.
After two devastating miscarriages – one of which was documented at 90 Day Fiance: before the second 90-day season – Paul and Karine happily announced in October 2018 that they were expecting a baby.
That same month, Paul revealed that Karine was pregnant with a baby boy.
90 Day Fiance: The Other Way’s season then debuted with, Paul, 35 at the time, chores working on a farm to save money for his then-pregnant wife and unborn child.
Paul wanted Karine to give birth in the United States under the care of American doctors.
However, since he did not earn $ 26,000 annually and his mother – or apparently someone else – could not convince Karine to be sponsored, Paul had moved to Brazil if he wanted to be with Karine and their unborn child.
Karine, who was 23 at the start of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, was seven months pregnant when Paul arrived in Brazil.
She had spent three months prior to Paul’s arrival alone and taking English lessons to improve the couple’s communication.
Karine, however, did not feel that Paul was putting a lot of effort into learning Portuguese, working and earning money. She was afraid that Paul could not take care of his family, knowing that babies are expensive to raise.
Karine’s brother Bonnie also shared with the 90 Day Fiance cameras that Karine had spent a lot of time crying in her bedroom before Paul arrived.
Bonnie did not really love Paul either, and considered him an “unbalanced person” who tended to sometimes become “a demon.”
Karine’s mother also felt that Paul was treating her daughter badly, especially when he repeatedly came up with the idea of doing a DNA test to prove his paternity of the baby.
Karine, however, insisted that she really loved Paul and still hoped that he would “stop the drama”, become a good father and step on the board financially.
