Alaskan Bush People: ‘ABP’ Family Feud Breaks Out

Alaskan Bush People star Bear Brown is hitting the road with his bike in tow. The Discovery Channel star posted a bike selfie on Instagram on Tuesday. It showed Bear Brown on an open gravel path through the mountains, gripping the handlebars.

This week, the Alaskan Bush People star’s longtime girlfriend, Raiven Adams, confirmed that the two had broken up, again, on social media. They started dating in 2018. They got engaged in 2019, then broke up shortly after, only to get back together in 2020 after learning they were having a baby. Speculation had proliferated about the breakup after Bear Brown posted a message on social media in March, “Tonight, my heart breaks.”

Raiven Adams declined to answer questions online that weren’t about her. But she confirmed that their son River has Bear Brown’s last name. She also said she will no longer appear on Alaskan Bush People and wants to leave the show behind.

Earlier this month, Bear was forced to take to social media to refute claims made by his older brother Matt Brown in a series of videos on Instagram. Matt Brown had aired multiple allegations about his family, who he had lived with in the early days of the show, and the production crew of Alaskan Bush People. Matt Brown was involved with the show during its launch.

Specifically, Matt Brown claimed that his late father, Billy Brown, took all the money they made on Alaskan Bush People, including his children’s share. And he claimed that the production crew gave his father and mother drugs in an attempt to get him addicted to them. Matt Brown is said to have struggled with substance abuse in the past.

Billy Brown died in February at the age of 68. He reportedly suffered a fatal seizure. The patriarch of the Brown family had previously struggled with heart problems. Doctors had advised him to move to a lower altitude. But he was as determined as ever to live life on his own terms.
