Raiven Brown, from the reality TV show “Alaskan Bush People,” has decided not to let any family members meet her new son Cove at the moment.
Alaskan Bush People: Raiven Brown Protects Newborn Son Cove in Wake of NICU Struggles
Cove was born with premature infant lung disease and had to be admitted to the NICU, causing Raiven Brown to make this tough decision. She has already faced a difficult pregnancy, having delivered River early due to life-threatening issues and suffering a miscarriage with her second baby.
Despite taking precautions and moving closer to hospitals in Texas, Cove still faced breathing problems after birth. Raiven Brown is now a protective mother and has no plans for Cove to fall ill again, and plans to wait until he is older to introduce him to both their families.
Despite precautions and moving to Texas for better medical care, Cove still struggled to breathe and was admitted to the NICU. Fortunately, Cove has since been released from the hospital and is home with his parents, Raiven and Bear Brown. The experience has convinced Raiven that she does not want to have any more children after River and Cove.
Raiven Brown, the mother of Cove, recently posted an Instagram photo of her son on his way to his first doctor’s appointment after his hospital release. In the comments section, someone asked if Cove’s grandmother, Ami Brown, had met him yet.
Raiven responded that Ami is in Washington and they are in Texas, and that they won’t allow anyone to meet Cove until he is older due to his previous health issues during RSV and cold season. She added that both families will eventually meet Cove but not at this moment.
