Chrissy Teigen, John Legend and their two children, Luna and Miles, adorned the cover of the December issue of Vanity Fair, which was released on Monday. The family photo made the 40-year-old EGOT winner kiss the cheek of the 33-year-old cookbook while their little ones nestled next to them. The children certainly stole the show. Their 3-year-old daughter smiled sweetly and kicked her foot playfully in front of the camera. Just like her mother, she was also a total fashionista in an AMAI dress. As for her 1-year-old baby brother, he looked cute while posing in his diaper and snuggling into his father’s arms.
The cover was not the only precious photo in the song. There were also pictures of the family members who enjoyed a spontaneous dance party in their back yard, dressed up in costumes, and enjoyed a bubble bath. What’s more, there was a sweet snapshot of Legend and his son sitting at the piano.
Moreover, readers were given a small glimpse into the household of the family. For example, the writer set the scene for a typical Sunday afternoon. According to the magazine “ran away” from her brother, “who desperately wants to hug her.” The little lady also wore a bright orange swimsuit with one shoulder and asked her father to put on his swimsuit. Apparently the “All of Me” artist had promised her to go swimming after her nap. But after they jumped in and found the water too cold, they decided to try again the next day.
“Did you hear that? It will be better tomorrow,” the legend told Luna. “Tomorrow we get up and shine.”
Luna also revealed what she wanted to be for Halloween this year and claimed that she hoped to dress up as a good fairy. When Teigen challenged this decision, Luna previously noted that she wanted to be Darla of The Little Rascals, giving her firstborn, as the writer put it, “her best attempt at keeping an eye on”.
“I hate pretending to do it alone,” Teigen said after a babysitter had laid her son down for a nap. “We have help during the day, at night, during the weekend. I don’t know how my mother did.”
Family was certainly a focus of the cover story. During their interviews for the play, Legend and Teigen opened up about their upbringing and the hardships they both had to overcome. They also discussed various other topics, including who they intend to vote for in the 2020 presidential election, Teigen’s Twitter feud with President Donald Trump, and her struggle with fear. According to Vanity Fair, Teigen said that her fear can prevent her from retaining memories, whether they are good or bad. Allegedly her wedding day is said to be a blur, just like the time in high school when her mother went to Thailand and didn’t come home for years. In addition, the two stars talked about their relationships with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
“I’m not trying to ignore Kanye because I still love him and everything we’ve done creatively,” the legend told the publication. “But we were never the best friends.”
