Counting On: Jinger Was In Shock When She Heard Her Grandmother Had Died
In one of the chapters of her book, Counting On star Jinger Duggar Vuolo recalls the tragic death of her grandmother, Mary Duggar. As it turns out, Mary accidentally drowned in a swimming pool and died in 2019. “My hand shook as I held my phone to my face. My legs had already given way beneath me, and I could feel the carpet of my friend’s living room digging into my knees,”
Jinger Duggar also shared in his book that Mary has also had a couple of strokes. She also said that she made a special trip to Arkansas to spend time with her grandmother three months before she died. Jinger Duggar also said that she was very shocked because her grandmother did not die of a peaceful and natural cause.
Counting On star Jinger also shared a heartfelt message for her grandmother in June 2019. According to Jinger Duggar, her grandmother was “best grandma, counselor, friend, woman of faith, bargain shopping buddy, McDonald’s fish sandwich lovin’ lady.” She also said Mary was very adventurous, whether it was across town or across the world. “She loved the Lord more than anything, and thus shared the hope of Jesus Christ with everyone who crossed her path,” Jinger added.
Meanwhile, Jinger Duggar hasn’t been with her parents for a while since she moved to Los Angeles. However, reports claim that he is still on good terms with his family, despite not seeing them for a long time.
