Counting On Star Jessa Duggar Shares Heartbreaking Tale of Miscarriage

Jessa Duggar, a reality star, announced on February 24th that she had suffered a miscarriage with her husband, Ben Seewald. In a YouTube video titled “Heartbreak Over the Holidays,” Jessa explained that she and Ben were at the hospital after experiencing unusual morning sickness pain.

During an ultrasound, the couple was told, “The sac looks good. The baby does not,” leaving Jessa with an overwhelming feeling of loss. She stated that no words could have prepared her for that moment. Jessa Duggar expressed her fear that there could be an error, and she asked if she could have one more ultrasound before the operation. She stated that after the procedure, she had a “hollow feeling inside” because she could not say goodbye to her child.

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald, who have four children together, said that they would continue to love and cherish each other and their family, even in the midst of their heartbreak. Jessa’s story is not uncommon, as miscarriage is a prevalent issue that affects many couples, causing emotional and physical pain. Still, her transparency can help other families who have experienced this kind of loss feel less alone.

Jessa Duggar, who recently announced her miscarriage, had previously suffered another loss before the birth of her daughter Fern. Jessa and her husband Ben Seewald shared a joint statement with TLC in 2021, saying they were overjoyed to announce that they were expecting another child. They also revealed that they had lost a baby the year before. The couple has four other children together: Spurgeon, 6, Henry, 5, Ivy, 3, and Fern, born in July 2021.

In recent weeks, Jessa had to defend herself against rumors that she did not attend her sister Jill’s baby shower. After Jill’s baby shower photos were posted on Instagram by their cousin Amy Duggar, fans noticed that there were no pictures of Jessa, leading to speculations that she had not attended the event. Jessa responded to the haters, telling them to stop spreading negativity.
