Dasha Zhukova and Stavros Niarchos are engaged to get married, Page Six has learned it exclusively.
The engagement was the buzz of a recent birthday party for Zhukova at Harlem hotspot Red Rooster. Sources said that benevolent people in the bash last month included David Beckham, Liv Tyler, Tory Burch, Larry Gagosian, Dustin Yellin, Proenza Schouler designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, Lauren Santo Domingo, Carlos Mota, Jessica Seinfeld and Tavi Gevinson.
Said a socialite source: “The couple is scheduled to marry later this year,” and, “they are still trying to figure out the details.”
Exclusively reported in August 2017 that Zhukova and her Russian billionaire ex, Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich, had been separated amicably after 10 years.
At the end of the same year she appeared at Niarchos at Art Basel Miami, as well as an event for her celebrating artist Jeff Koons from Garage Magazine. A source said at the time: “They have been friends for a long time, and they have recently started spending time together.”
A source told us on Friday that there is still no problem with the exes. “She has seen him a million times since the divorce,” the friend said. They have two children together, and Zhukova and Abramovich have said they “remain good friends, parents and partners in the projects we have developed together,” including a museum in Moscow.
Zhukova and Niarchos were recently seen as guests at the Wyoming wedding of supermodel pal Karlie Kloss and Josh Kushner, along with another engaged couple, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry, and designer Diane von Furstenberg.
Zhukova’s Upper East Side house is designed by architects Herzog & de Meuron, while Niarchos has meticulously restored one of the most historic houses in LA, the “Kronish House” by Richard Neutra. He reportedly just clicked the neighboring mansion from Beverly Hills for $ 15 million to expand the estate.
