Days of Our Lives Spoilers Much More Drama to Come in Salem

The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that NBC soap has finally struck a deal. DOOL has been officially renewed for its 56th season, so it’s great news for Days of Our Lives fans. The sand will continue to flow through the hourglass, which means there are many more twists and turns in Salem.

You might think that Days of Our Lives has already been renewed, but until now it wasn’t completely official. It was close enough to an agreement already concluded that the cast and crew were informed already in November, but were still waiting for confirmation.

Then, NBC President Paul Telegdy made a more firm announcement at the TCA a couple of weeks ago. He reassured Days’ viewers that the show would go ahead, so we all knew he wouldn’t go back on his word. Fortunately, everything went as it was supposed to and all the formalities were handled.

“It’s officially official,” as Ron Carlivati wrote in a recent tweet. Many Days stars also sent celebratory messages. The same goes for the fans, who are thrilled to know that the show will continue to be a great success. We all want to keep the soap genre alive, so it’s great that Days continues.

According to Deadline, negotiations for the renewal have been blocked due to what Sony Pictures TV wanted to achieve. Their sources say the DOOL distributor was hoping to adapt the show’s business model, including international sales.

It was important to define all the details so that Days could remain accessible and on air – hopefully for many years to come!

It took months to reach this official agreement, but now we finally have one and we can focus on all the action in Salem. The Days of Our Lives spoilers say there are still several mysteries to unravel.

There are also some important exhibitions that are being prepared – like the baby swap that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) have set in motion. That bomb will definitely send shock waves.
