Emmerdale star Charley Webb finds pregnancy difficult because she has been so sick.
Charley, who plays Debbie Dingle, and her co-star husband Matthew Wolfenden are expecting their third child together. The couple is already parents of sons Buster, 9 and Bowie, three.
Matthew, who plays David Metcalfe on the soap, said that Charley has been ill so far during her third pregnancy.
During Monday’s Loose Women he said: ‘This pregnancy has been brutal.
“Charley has been sick from the beginning, she has been sick since we found out and she is still today.
“But she likes giving birth, she would say that.” He added that they do not know if they have a boy or a girl, but have said that they would keep it as a surprise.
Speak to OK! Magazine, Charley said, “I’m used to boys and I always thought I’d have three boys and a girl, in that order. That is my instinct but who knows. “
Charley revealed that her eldest was “desperate” for a little brother when she was pregnant with her second son, and admitted that it would be “nice to have the same for Bowie.”
The Emmerdale couple tied the knot last year in a surprising wedding ceremony that has been together since 2007. From their big surprise, Matthew said: “We couldn’t have got a better answer. People screamed for about ten minutes! It’s funny to think that our guests thought they were coming to Charley’s 30th party – then we told them it was our wedding! ‘At the beginning of February they broke the news about their third pregnancy with fans in an Instagram message. The character of Matthew is currently dealing with the consequences after he has learned that his teenage son Jacob was cared for by his teacher Maya, David’s former girlfriend.
