EMMERDALE actress Michelle Hardwick has told how Vanessa Woodfield can be accused of manslaughter while the events in the Dales take a hair-raising turn.
The character, grieving the loss of her father Frank Clayton, is arrested tonight after being violent at the hospital.
Frank died in a fire in the factory, but Vanessa recently realized the truth when Kerry Wyatt admitted starting the fire.
Charity’s sister Tracy Dingle’s lover pushed Kerry down and she hit her head on a rock and hasn’t woken up since.
The newly-married actress Michelle revealed this morning how her character “has so much anger in her” when she visits the ward.
She revealed that her character will be arrested after “a set” with Amy.
Michelle, 42, gave a hint about the upcoming storyline and continued: “If she (Vanessa) tells the police that Kerry and Amy have started the fire, they are going to say that Vanessa has put Kerry in the hospital.
“If Kerry died, which I’m not going to say, it could be manslaughter.”
Kerry, played by actress Laura Norton, spoke about the future of her role and admitted that her character had reached a “breaking point”.
Laura said frankly: “So this is really the beginning of the end.”
In a lighter tone, soap star Michelle told about her stunningly romantic wedding in Graceland.
Michelle married Emmerdale producer Kate Brooks in a small ceremony in Memphis, Tennessee on September 10.
This morning she told presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield how the maintenance man in their hotel had asked if he could be present – with his mother.
As the hosts giggled, Michelle said, “He sobbed all the way through the vows.
“His mother, maybe she couldn’t hear it, was completely talking.”
