Erika Girardi is in rehearsal mode for her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in “Chicago,” and is having a great time … for now.
“In this moment it feels great,” Erika Girardi recently told Page Six at BravoCon. “Opening night I’ll probably vomit in a bucket off stage.”
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 48, begins performing on Jan. 6.
Her latest role is much different than her “Housewives” gig, with her explaining: “You cannot rehearse ‘Housewives.’ Let me say that again. You cannot rehearse ‘Housewives’ because it’s natural and right now. You can rehearse Broadway and that’s what we do and that’s where all the hard work for Broadway comes in. “
Fans will see her journey to the stage, as Page Six previously reported that cameras will be following “some of” her move to New York.
She is not the first “RHOBH” star to take on the role, as Lisa Rinna played in 2007 as Roxie opposite her husband, Harry Hamlin.
In the meantime, she’s still filming for the show’s upcoming 10th season. She told us that she has “a lot going on but it’s all great stuff.”
As she said, “Pressure makes diamonds.”
