Erin Foster and Sara Foster get back to work with 20th Century Fox TV and they have just signed an exclusive three-year pod deal with the studio.
The sisters, the daughters of music producer David Foster, produced their Daddy Issues pilot with Fox last year. Erin wrote and played in the comedy pilot alongside Don Johnson as her father. They also created their reality parody series Barely Famous for VH1.
“Erin and Sara have a way to make themselves and their comedy fully ambitious and accessible at the same time,” said 20th-century Fox TV exec Carolyn Cassidy in a statement to Deadline. “Whether it’s their work on the Daddy Issues pilot we’ve produced with them or just their latest Instagram post, their hilarious voices shine through. They have a passion for making great television and are bursting with ideas. We are pleased to further enable them to make many more swings, both behind and in front of the camera. “
“We loved making our pilot by 20th last year and can’t wait to continue our working relationship with them through this general deal,” the sisters said in a statement. “We look forward to developing comedies that make sense not only for writing and sparkling, but also produce for established talents that we admire, but also for new talent that we can offer a platform to. We thank Carolyn, Howard, Craig and Dana for the occasion. “
