Former ‘Young And The Restless’ Stars Returning For Tribute Episodes To Kristoff St. John

Some old friends in the Young and the Restless cast return for tribute episodes to say goodbye to the old star, Kristoff St. John, who died in February 2019 at the age of 52. Some of the former stars will be recurring are Shemar Moore (Malcolm Winters), Victoria Rowell (Drucilla Winters) and Mishael Morgan (Hilary Curtis Winters).

They will allegedly participate in various episodes of Young and the Restless to pay their respects to Kristoff St. John, who played the role of Neil Winters in the CBS day drama since 1991.

Moore will revive his role as brother of Neil for two episodes aired on April 25 and April 26. Rowell and Morgan appear as themselves in a tribute episode on April 29. This special episode includes both former and current Young and the Restless cast members who share their favorite memories of Kristoff and will include clips of Kristoff’s best moments.

Moore played his character for the last time in September 2014 before he left the show. Rowell played Neil’s wife until 2007 and Morgan played the former cheating wife of Neil until 2018.

The plot of these special episodes will be centered around the sudden death of Neil. When Genoa City is aware of the news, old friends and family come together to show respect and remember their beloved father, colleague, brother, friend and more. This starts on April 23, 2019.

Executive producer Anthony Morina has issued a statement to Entertainment Weekly about the special tribute episodes, stating that they are still in shock and processing what happened. “We miss Kristoff immensely and are understandably still in shock. We hope that in April this storyline and tribute broadcast will honor the legendary character that Kristoff created and give our audience the opportunity to say a meaningful goodbye to Neil Winters “

Kristoff’s latest appearance on the CBS day drama was on February 6. The episode ended with the heart-warming tribute message “In Loving Memory Of Our Dear Friend,” as he had just passed two days earlier. Kristoff was nominated for and won several Daytime Emmy awards for his role as Neil Winters in Young and the Restless.
