Charlotte McKinney is ready for her close-up.
The 26-year-old model, who previously left her mark as GUESS Girl and Carl’s Jr. viral star at Super Bowl XLIX, Social Life recently said that it is nowadays focusing on acting in Hollywood.
“Right now, my main focus is really on the acting room, where I do as many auditions as possible that match my passion, including comedy,” McKinney explained to the outlet. “I think that modeling will always be a part of my life, but acting is much more meaningful and what now feeds my soul. We are currently living in such a different, rather crazy world, I love the ability to laugh and make things fun. Taking nothing too seriously is really the name of the game right now. “
Although McKinney could not spill what she is going to do now, she insisted that the future look bright for the budding starlet.
“I have to play by the rules, but so far I have filmed some cool movies this year that I am very excited about,” she said. “I recently spent some time in Fiji filming the remake of” Fantasy Island “.”
“I really think there are a number of qualities that contribute to success, and this is a profession that I love and that I take very seriously,” McKinney continues. “It is all about keeping yourself healthy, being at the top of your game and understanding which projects are perfect for where you are now and where you want to be.”
According to the magazine, McKinney first became “Insta Fame” when she used Instagram to launch a modeling career in her late teens. That eventually led to her highly profiled performance with GUESS. After being in the commercial of Carl’s Jr. had appeared for their ‘All-Natural Burger’, in which McKinney is apparently nude, she was named ‘the next Kate Upton’ after the cover girl of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. McKinney would also appear on “Dancing with the Stars”, as well as “Joe Dirt 2” from 2015, as well as “Baywatch” and “Flatliners” from 2017, which were also released that same year.
In addition to pursuing acting, McKinney is also a proud supporter of Best Buddies, a non-profit organization that wants to create opportunities for people with developmental disabilities.
“It is near and dear to me and gives me a purpose in life and centers me,” McKinney said. “Being a friend for someone with a developmental disorder makes me feel good at the end of the day and helps me to step out of my daily life in a very good way. I have been working with the organization since high school. “
In 2016, McKinney told Fox News that her model celebrity was far from smooth sailing.
“I moved to Miami to model and you know, I have a lot of nos,” she recalled at the time. “So I kept chasing after it. And I kept shooting. And many agencies didn’t take me with me. I started to publish a lot of material online and Instagram and to photograph a lot. And then I finally got a cop. And it kind of went. “
And the hard work of McKinney paid off and eventually gave her a campaign with GUESS.
“What it was like to make it as a GUESS Girl for me was huge,” she said. “Simply because it has been so iconic all my life. You know, I’m a curvier, more bombshell girl, and GUESS has always had that beautiful, curvy girl. And when I was part of it, it was huge for me. When I first saw my GUESS ad, it was just a shock. It was crazy to see my face with GUESS underneath. So it hit me hard. “
“They usually want to weaken your curves and your chest with all brands and such,” she continued. “But with GUESS I could just be myself and show my curves … feel more comfortable. It was amazing. It really helped me shine more than hide it.
But looking and feeling like a pinup takes work, McKinney emphasizes.
“I do a lot of hot yoga,” she shared. “I do Pilates. And I try to eat really healthy. I try to eat anything that is not packaged. I drink a lot and when I travel I make sure I have my vitamin C and I only eat natural food. And go to the gym if I can find time too. “
