When ET spoke to Brown on the red carpet, she revealed that her stunning ensemble at the CMA Awards was actually inspired by the shiny DWTS trophy she hopes to win.
“I always get nervous because it is something I have invested everything in right now,” she said about her time in the show and reaching next semifinals with Bersten. “We were rehearsing earlier at 6 o’clock in the morning. So it’s something that has really been a special part of my journey and I really want the endgame with a nice trophy in my hand.”
“This is my way of manifesting it,” she added. “Just wear a mirrorball!”
A few hours before the award ceremony started, Bersten said in his weekly guest blog for ET that he would also like to win his very first mirrorball trophy with Brown.
“I’d really like to win the mirrorball, but to be honest, I just want Hannah to win it,” he said. “I want Hannah to feel good about every performance and I want her to realize that she is the reason we are even in the semi-finals. Her hard work, dedication and great personality are why we are still here. I am just so proud of her. “
