One thing we have learned in recent years (mostly from celebrities who have met Queen Elizabeth) is that she has been misunderstood for decades. It appears that she has a bad sense of humor that is rarely shown in public as a result of sticking to the stiff upper lip protocol. At private parties, however, she is known as very funny, not including her grandson, Harry.
Yes, with Harry known for having a similar relaxed and funny atmosphere in private, you have to assume that he and his grandmother get along well in all situations.
Do they really do that? There are some indications that they are doing that, but what happened to Meghan in the photo?
During the dark days of Diana, Harry didn’t seem close to his grandmother
Only recently have we learned the tragic details of what Harry had to endure spiritually after his mother died in Paris 22 years ago. The mental torture he was experiencing and expected to remain stoic, was probably due to a decree from his grandparents who grew up in a different era doing therapy as a weakness.
In this regard, we know that it took time for Harry to remove this prince with the queen. As we have seen, Harry felt at ease when he became a more sophisticated adult. After receiving the mental help he needed, things were apparently repaired for a while.
One of the best examples of Harry and the Queen who were close by was a few years ago in a video that showed them to do a comedy for the Invictus Games. This concerned Barack and Michelle Obama who talked about mic-drops, followed by Harry who imitated the same thing next to the queen.
Many people found this charming proof of how well they communicated without icy looks.
Have things changed a little since Harry married Meghan?
Reports are that the queen recently hired a former top assistant to look after Harry and Meghan for whatever purpose. Apparently she does not fully believe that the couple will maintain the expected protocol.
After all, Harry first called the queen his grandmother, then the boss. The latter is still in control, and it may have created some friction with Meghan who wants to do things her way.
With Harry and Meghan‘s recent move to Frogmore Cottage, there may be even more disagreement if you look at the news of the couple who want to move to Africa. Is this to distance yourself from the rest of the royal family, at least for a while?
Seeing some body language between Harry and the Queen would now be interesting, proving that two years can sometimes change feelings.
Reports are the queen still lets her guard down around Harry
Let us assume that any form of freezing between Harry and his grandmother still does not exist. If you say in the media through British media reports that the queen is having her guard when she is near Harry, they can get along no matter what happens.
Harry and Meghan’s move to Africa may necessarily be to perform royal duties, support their ongoing charities, not including escaping media madness regarding the arrival of Baby Sussex.
As far as we know, it may also have been because of a decree from the queen that may feel annoyed recently with Meghan’s endless family dramas. Harry may have turned to his grandmother to solve some of those problems or prevent them from restarting, which quickly got underway.
Now we will have to see if Harry and the Queen will remain close in the coming years. Even if he and Meghan stay in Africa for a while, the queen will probably live another 20 years if you go with royal DNA.
