The reason for the impairment? The wealth tracking site claims that Forbes has made a few vague figures. It states that although Kylie Cosmetics’ revenues are declining year after year, Forbes “assumed that the company would sell about 8x its current profit.” As they say themselves: “No company would pay a multiple of 8x for a brand that is clearly declining in popularity.”
