Jenelle Evans and her family took their Thanksgiving away from home, and for the first time in at least four years, away from her ex-husband, David Eason.
The 27-year-old former Teen Mom 2-star and her mother, Barbara Evans, treated her children, sons Jace, 10, and Kaiser, 5, and daughter Ensley, 2, to an all-American holiday dinner at a Cracker Barrel Old Landwinkel in Nashville. Bring on the unlimited cookies!
One of the restaurant’s waitresses, Gabrielle Smith, posted a picture of the family posing with her and two colleagues on Twitter on Friday and wrote, “Hey Yall! I have to take care of @ PBandJenelley_1 and her family on my busy team @CrackerBarrel in Nashville on Thursday … Such a great cute family plus barb was there … I hope my service was great! “
Jenelle Evans retweeted her and wrote earlier: ‘Happy Thanksgiving! Grateful for the wonderful children I have and thankful that I have finally found happiness in myself.
Gabrielle told E! News that they arrived around 15.00 hrs. and were “all great and sweet”. The group ordered the Thanksgiving menu and Jenelle seemed happy to dine with her family.
Jenelle Evans announced on October 31 that she and her children had moved from David, her husband and Ensley’s father. The two were married two years ago and have been together since late 2015, when they met on Tinder.
After their split Jenelle Evans was given a temporary restraining order against David and accused him of domestic violence. She stated that she was concerned about the safety of her and her children.
The breakup comes months after David drew controversy and called on fans for Jenelle Evans to leave him when he killed his wife’s dog Nugget, because he felt that the pet was threatening their daughter. The ordeal led to the couple losing custody of Ensley and Kaiser, as well as David’s older daughter Maryssa, and also urging MTV to fire Jenelle from Teen Mom 2. Jenelle’s mother has long been custody of Jace.
The split also took place a year after Jenelle reported to the police that David had attacked her. She later called the incident a ‘drunken and dramatic misunderstanding’.
Earlier this month, David said on Facebook this week that he wasn’t sad about the split and wrote: “I’ve realized that I wasn’t in love and there are much better people for me.”
