It’s been a big year for Mike Sorrentino, and now the Jersey Shore star has even more to celebrate. It’s no secret that the past few years have been tough for Mike, who ended up serving time in prison after pleading guilty to a tax evasion charge in 2018. Mike Sorrentino was sentenced to eight months behind bars and served his time at the Otisville Correctional Facility in Otisville, New York.
But that wasn’t the only punishment Mike faced for his tax problems. He also had to pay a hefty tax bill and do community service.
Now that he has finally completed not only his prison sentence but all terms of his release, Mike Sorrentino is officially a free man.
Jersey Shore: Mike Sorrentino Has A Lot To Be Grateful For.
On Sunday, September 12, Mike Sorrentino took to Instagram to share his current situation, and we have to admit that’s cause for celebration. He shared a collection of photos from prison when his wife, Lauren Sorrentino, came to visit him along with DJ Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino.
It’s no secret that Mike has had plenty of support from his Jersey Shore castmates, both while facing court dates and in jail. They even showed up to show their support at his sentencing hearing. While behind bars, Mike Sorrentino received visits from many Jersey Shore cast members, who supported him and helped keep his spirits up while he served his sentence.
Although he spent his time in prison with some pretty interesting people, including Fyre Festival founder Billy McFarland and former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, it’s no secret that Mike was happy when it came time to go home.
The Jersey Shore cast was not slow to welcome Mike Sorrentino back, and their reunion was shown during the second half of the third season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
