Kate Middleton wows in white!
On Tuesday, the 37-year-old Duchess of Cambridge moved from Wimbledon to the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on day two.
The chic royal chose the occasion for a midi-length, white shirt dress, perhaps a nod to the tennis whites of the players. Kate combined her dress with black heels, Ray-Ban sunglasses, a black Alexander McQueen tie belt and a straw bag from the same designer.
Kate chose to sit at the event – rather than in the traditional Royal Box seats – when she recorded the game between British player Harriet Dart and American Christina McHale. Kate’s friends, Katie Boulter, a British tennis player, and Anne Keothavong, a retired British tennis star, sat next to her during the match.
The duchess appeared cheerful, while she and her friends giggled and chatted all day long.
Serena Williams and Roger Federer will also play on the same course on Tuesday, something that speculates a lot about whether Kate’s sister-in-law, Meghan Markle, will stop at the tournament because she is good friends with Serena.
A source recently told ET that Meghan, who welcomed her first child, Archie, with Prince Harry in May, plans to break maternity leave and see her boyfriend play.
According to the source, the only thing that can stop Meghan from going to the annual tennis tournament is if the baby “keeps her home at the last minute”.
The Duchess of Sussex has participated in Wimbledon several times, including last year when she sat next to Kate – their first one-on-one outing – during the Ladies’ Final Final match between Serena and Angelique Kerber. Serena eventually lost the game.
