Kate Middleton attended the Queen’s Trooping the Color Saturday 8 June and wore a beautiful pastel look from her favorite designers. She gave a sweet wink to her sister-in-law Meghan Markle.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a yellow jacket dress with a peplum detail from Alexander McQueen (the designer of her wedding dress!) And recycled a yellow flower fascinator from royal favorite Philip Treacy.
As some may remember, Kate first wore the hat at another important event, the Duke’s and Duchess’s wedding of Sussex. It was a sweet nod to Meghan, who made her debut since she gave birth to Archie Harrison and sat opposite Kate in the procession opposite Buckingham Palace.
However, this is not the first time Kate Middleton has recycled a look. For Meghan and Harry’s wedding she also combined the yellow hat with another Alexander McQueen dress, a cream she had previously worn for the christening of Princess Charlotte and the 2016 Trooping the Color. And on Friday, June 7, she again wore a beautiful cream-colored Catherine Walker jacket for the Beating Retreat of the Household Division.
After the parade, Kate Middleton and Prince William and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis made their annual appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. With Prince Louis for his debut in Trooping the Color, the Duchess of Cambridge laughed.
