Kit Harington Struggles Not to React to Colbert’s Very Specific ‘Game of Thrones’ Ending Theories

Kit Harington and the rest of the “Game of Thrones” cast do the press for a show they can hardly talk about for years, so they are hard to break when it comes to spoilers and experienced in giving interviews that barely touch to the tone itself.

But on the “Late Show” of Tuesday – which was broadcast the same day, the trailer for “GoT’s” eighth and last season finally dropped – host Stephen Colbert decided that he would push Harington as far as he could by his theories on how the HBO series reading ends aloud for the actor who plays Jon Snow.

“Look right in the camera there, I will say this and you will not try to convey information when I make my guesses,” commanded Colbert Harington.

Among the many theories of Colbert for how the “Game of Thrones” finale ends, these gems were: “someone dies”; the credits roll and George R.R. Martin is inspired to finally finish “The Winds of Winter”; the last line is “it turns out that the real game was how we made friends on the road”; they untie the cliffhanger “The Sopranos”.

OK, that was a little lethargic, but then the CBS host goes all-in late in the night by revealing his last guess and going off like this:

“This is the one I think This is the one I hope I hope it will be, so do not betray anything, because if this is the one I want, it will break my heart if you let me know that I am right and it’s no surprise to me, do you understand? Do not convey information, I know you’re an actor, I know the camera can read your thoughts and I know you’ve been trained to give me an emotional response, but please do not touch your face. “

“I am very good at that, just like Jon Snow,” answers Harington, before attempting to get the latest Colbert theory.
