Little People, Big World: Matt Roloff admits he missed Amy Roloff

As LPBW fans know, Matt Roloff and Amy Roloff split up in 2016. However, in the latest episode of the TLC reality show, Matt makes a surprising confession about his ex-wife Amy. He confesses to missing Amy Roloff at the Roloff farm for the past year. Matt Roloff said that missing Amy was hard. Matt Roloff and Amy Roloff, divorced in 2016 and are now dating other people. Matt is involved with Caryn Chandler, while Amy Roloff plans to marry Chris Marek later this year. The fact that they are no longer together, and are with other people, doesn’t mean that they have forgotten about each other.

In fact, in the latest episode of Little People Big World, Amy returns to Roloff Farms for the new pumpkin season. Matt gives her a tour of the farm to reveal all the changes he has made.

Amy Roloff was nervous at first, but when she saw how the farm was going, she relaxed. Confessing, she said: “I definitely said I would be participating in pumpkin season this year.” However, she added that now that she’s not officially the owner, it’s certainly a different feeling.

When Amy goes to see Matt Roloff, he tells her they are about a month late with their plans. Matt explains to the camera that he’s invited Amy to look at pumpkin season and where he’d like to place. Last year, Amy didn’t participate in pumpkin season because of her mother’s death. Matt Roloff explained that they missed her and wanted to see her there, but they understand. She said this year she went right back into her role, greeting people and being kind of the “face of the family”.

Amy Roloff told the cameras that driving around the farm didn’t seem as different or strange as she would have thought. She said she sees the place in a completely different way. Amy admits that it is no longer hers and what she does is purely business. She added: “I’m a guest here quite a lot.”

Fans will remember that Amy Roloff and Matt Roloff shared ownership of the farm during their almost 30-year marriage. In this season’s premiere, Matt offered to buy Amy Roloff a share of the farm when she moved away with Chris.

Later, Amy Roloff and Matt Roloff’s son Zach considered buying his mother’s share. He said they have postponed that discussion for the time being because their longtime farm employee decided to rent the house for a few months.
