In the teaser for the next episode of Little People, Big World, Matt Roloff talks about Amy Roloff not being in the farm. He says it was “tough” last year when he wasn’t at his former farm.
Now it’s pumpkin season once again, Amy said it’s definitely going to be a lot different for her this year. It’s been a few months since Amy visited the farm. This makes her understandably nervous when she returns.
It’s been a few months since Amy visited the Roloff farm. She admits that returning to the farm understandably makes her a little nervous. In a preview of Tuesday’s LPBW, Amy Roloff talks about pumpkin season. She explains that she said she’d definitely participate this year. However, she adds that now that she’s no longer officially the owner, it’s definitely a different feeling for her.
At the same time, Matt admits that they are a month late in preparing for pumpkin season. He says he invited Amy Roloff to watch the pumpkin season to let her know how he’d like to position it.
Amy notes that she didn’t attend last year because her mother had passed away. Matt Roloff then admits that he felt Amy’s absence very much at the time.
Roloff says last year’s pumpkin season was difficult. He explains that they missed Amy Roloff and wanted her to be there. However, under the circumstances, they understood. This year, however, Amy is jumping right back into her old role. She’s welcoming people and acting as the face of the family again.

Although nervous beforehand, Amy immediately feels calmer once she’s back at the farm. But despite feeling calm, things aren’t what they used to be. Matt Roloff and Amy Roloff divorced in 2016 after 27 years of marriage. Now Amy is engaged to Chris Marek and is planning a wedding later this year. In the meantime, Matt is seeing Caryn Chandler. Nevertheless, Matt Roloff and Amy Roloff are still friends.
In the preview, Amy Roloff says that driving around the farm didn’t seem as different or weird as she thought it would. She adds that she now has a different perspective on the farm. Amy notes that the farm is no longer hers. She adds that what she does is just business and she is quite a visitor to the Roloff farm.
