Mama June’s daughter Alana Thompson and Pumpkin have fled their home in Georgia after the troubled star warned them that she owes the “money of the wrong people” in this week’s Mama June: From Not to Hot: Family Crisis.
In the episode, family friend Big Mike revealed to June Shannon’s sister Joanne Shannon who is “in serious trouble.
He told Joanne Shannon, “She owes a lot of money to the wrong people.” In the past I’ve been running with some, with the wrong people and the wrong people. I know some of these guys they’re fucking with and they’re gonna get them. I’ll tell you. You better fucking pay.
“They shot me twice, stabbed me seven times and I got hit with a baseball bat. This is serious. You wouldn’t believe it. This is serious. They’ll find a way to make them pay.”
Joanne Shannon later realized that in June 40 she sold all of her and her family’s assets in her house in Georgia because he owed money.
Joanne Shannon said, “I can’t believe Geno’s actually putting her life in danger. The last few months, we were worried June might O.D. and end up dead. But now we have to worry about someone coming to take her out. “Please do whatever you have to do to pay these people off.”
Throughout the episode, Lauryn Shannon, and her husband, Josh Efird, noticed a mysterious truck parked outside their house.
After Lauryn Shannon and Josh’s daughter, Ella, won a beauty contest, she received a text message from her worried mother.
Lauryn Shannon said, “Mom sent me a text message saying that some kids might be on our trail because she owes people money. I never thought they’d come looking for us. The car outside our apartment, are they the people he owed money to? I’d rather stay safe and apologize and get the f** out of here.”
Lauryn Shannon, Josh, Alana and little Ella rush home to pack their stuff and run off to a hotel.
Pumpkin said in her confessional, “This is overwhelming and I’m (f***king) pissed .” Once things are going smoothly you have to come in and f**k it up for us. You’re putting our lives in danger and ruining everything we have.”
