Married at First Sight: Pastor Cal Roberson Asks Mindy Shiben İf Zach Justice Has Moved İn Yet

Mindy Shiben’s husband, Zach Justice, never seemed fully committed to their marriage in Lifetime’s Married at First Sight Season 10.

First, the 32-year-old personal trainer told his wife, a 34-year-old figure skating coach, that he was not physically attracted to her. They barely touched each other on their honeymoon in Panama. Also, Zach Justice refused to move in with Mindy Shiben when they returned to Washington, D.C.

In a lifetime preview of Mar. 18’s March 18 episode of Married at First Sight, “Move In Or Move On,” Mindy tells Pastor Cal Roberson that Zach Justice has not yet moved into the apartment they were supposed to share. Mindy’s Married at First Sight casting partner, Jessica Studer (happily married to Austin Hurd), defends her and questions why Zack joined the show.

In the example clip, Pastor Cal asks the Married at First Sight brides about their weddings over dinner.

“No,” answers Mindy Shiben in a sinful way. “I mean, he should bring a bag tonight.” “Like, a shopping bag, or…?” Pastor Cal jokes while the other brides start complaining about Zach’s lack of commitment.

As she has throughout the process, Mindy Shiben reiterates how committed she is to trying to make her marriage to Zach Justice work. I’m trying to be patient and find a compromise,” says the star of Married at First Sight, even though she seems exhausted.

“I give her a lot of credit,” she’s reassured by pastor Cal. “And I don’t think she’s a horrible person.” I really don’t.”

The matchmaker for “The Married at First Sight” explains that according to him some of the people on the show are not ready for what they signed up for. “I think a lot of times, people who really feel ready for marriage, and they jump into this, they realize, ‘Oh my God. This is more than I thought,” he says to Mindy Shiben. “And they don’t know how to handle it.”

MAFS: The ‘Married At First Sight’ Bride Suggests That Zach Justice Just Wanted To Promote Himself

In an interview with the producers of Lifetime, Jessica explains that she doesn’t trust Zach Justice at all. In fact, she thinks he never intended to stay married or commit to making his marriage work.

“I feel this is an important red flag that he won’t be moving,” says the star of Married at First Sight. “And I feel this is just a sign that he’s not committed to it.”

And while Jessica says she believes Mindy’s intentions to appear on the show were pure, she’s not so sure about Zach’s. In fact, she believes that Zach Justice might be more interested in promoting his brand as a fitness professional than finding a soul mate.

“I really like Mindy Shiben, and I know what Mindy’s intentions were, and she had good intentions,” Jessica tells the producers. “She wanted a partner for life. I don’t think Zach Justice is interested in a life partner. I think maybe he was interested in the idea of, you know, promoting himself a little bit more.”
