Happy Halloween from Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and their “little pumpkin!”
The royal couple celebrated the vacation on Instagram by sharing a photo of their New Zealand tour last fall when they visited Courtenay Creative to see how the screen training facility and the creative industry offers young people programs to excel in the film industry. Meghan and Harry are surrounded by beautifully dressed characters in an instant.
And in the caption, the duke and duchess of Sussex revealed their cute (and for the festive season) nickname for their 5-month-old son Archie!
“I wish you all a safe and fun Halloween from our family (and our little pumpkin to) for yours!” They wrote.
Of course Archie also has a cute moniker – during their recent visit to Africa, Archie made his very first royal outing to meet human rights activist Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his daughter, Thandeka Tutu-Gxashe.
In the video of the visit Meghan is called her son ‘Bubba’.
“Say hello! Hello, hello,” she says and then realizes that he is drooling. “Oh, Bubba!” Fortunately, Daddy Prince Harry was ready to catch the dribble.
Archie’s great cousins also celebrate Halloween. Kate Middleton got out in Norfolk earlier this month and made the short trip to the local Sainsbury’s supermarket to buy Halloween costumes for her children.
Kate, who was with Prince George and Princess Charlotte at the time, was even seen in the Halloween attire of the Kings Lynn Hardwick superstore and even stopped to chat with some fellow shoppers.
Local Kathy Whittaker saw the royal mother scroll through the Halloween section.
“I didn’t see what she was actually buying. The lady who told me she was there had kids with her and she said Kate asked her kids what they were going to be for Halloween,” Whittaker said, according to various British newspapers. “I think she bought some Halloween pieces for her children, but I don’t know what.”
