MEGHAN, Duchess of Sussex, is turning 38 today, and the Queen and Prince Philip have paid homage to her in a moving post.
Meghan Markle‘s 38th birthday is today and social media are flooded with messages that wish her the best on her special day. Such a message came from the Queen and Prince Philip himself, when they went to their Instagram account to pay tribute. They wrote: “Happy Birthday to The Duchess of Sussex. The Duchess was born on this day in 1981. “
Their message contained an emoji for a birthday cake and was accompanied by a photo of Meghan and Harry hand in hand.
The photo was taken in June when Meghan Markle stepped for the first time since Archie was born.
She and Harry attended a baseball game, the very first Major League Baseball game ever in London.
The Boston Red Sox fought the New York Yankees, and the Sussexs got a small baseball jersey for their son, who was personalized to say “Archie” on the back.
The tribute of the Queen and Prince Philip came from the official Instagram page of the royal family.
Kate and Prince William have also uploaded a message and photo for Meghan’s birthday, and husband Prince Harry has added a sweet note to his and Meghan’s Instagram account.
Meghan loves birthdays and explains on her now deleted blog The Tig: “My mother has always said that birthdays are your own personal New Year.
“Your own chance to make resolutions only for yourself and what you predict for your coming year.”
She said she just wanted: ‘More surprises, more adventure, more opportunities to grow, more days full of giggling and cheeky jokes, more delicious meals and more inspiration. Always more inspiration. “
A royal insider told Fabulous Digital the moving gifts Meghan will receive this year.
The royal source said: “This year there will be a birthday present from Archie and the chances are for a sepia or black and white photo of her dear son in a solid silver frame by Aspreys.
“The precious gift probably has an engraving chosen by Harry that makes it extra special.
“And Harry has a weakness for designing jewelry for Meghan Markle, so the royal is expected to design another beautiful piece – probably earrings – as a Sussex surprise.”
No doubt she is celebrating the day with her family, because this is the first birthday of the duchess since she became a mother.
This year was a busy year for the Duchess, as she welcomed her first child, became patron of various charities, and published the September issue of British Vogue.
Although he is still on maternity leave, Meghan has also participated in a baseball game and the British premiere of the Lion King.
