The final countdown is on the release of Avengers: Endgame, which is now less than a month away.
To celebrate this, Marvel Studios has released a series of stunning posters with both dead and living thinking.
The individual posters were shared on Twitter by both Marvel Studios and stars, including Brie Larson, Zoe Saldana and Robert Downey Jr. with the slogan ‘Avenge the fallen’ on it.
Clever the posters for the characters who did not survive the Thanos snap at the end of Avengers: Infinity War are in black and white, indicating that they have died.
Meanwhile, the posters with the stands are in color, with the heroes looking into the distance as they prepare for ‘everything that is needed’.
A surprise was waiting for fans to be released in color as a poster for Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie, logically confirming that she is still alive.
Perhaps you remember the end of Thor: Ragnarok, Valkyrie, Thor, The Hulk, Loki and Heimdall were on an Asgardian refugee ship intercepted by Thanos.
Avengers: Infinity War opens in the aftermath of the devastating attack, with Valkyrie nowhere in sight, leaving fans wondering if they survived the attack.
While one of the directors confirmed Joe Russo to a question and answer at the University of Iowa, Valkyrie was taken on a rescue ship along with other Asgardians, we still didn’t know if she survived the deadly breach.
The new poster not only confirms that Valkyrie has survived, but that she is back in action in Avengers: Endgame, ready to kick Thanos’ purple ass.
We can still be seen in other marketing materials, including TV spots, posters and trailers.
The latest full-length trailer gave us a more in-depth look at what to expect from Avengers: Endgame, with new footage.
We see more of the reunion of Black Widow and Hawkeye, a moving moment while holding each other’s hands, as well as a flashback scene of the last hero showing a young woman how to use a bow and arrow.
Each of the heroes will then have the opportunity to say that they will “do everything in store” to defeat Thanos before the Avengers’ final recruit, Captain Marvel, appears.
I was already enthusiastic for Avengers: Endgame, but the confirmation that Valkyrie will keep in it, an avid favorite with fans, has made me even more enthusiastic.
