Perhaps that is why passengers have to check their suitcases – the upper compartments are filled with flight attendants.
A recent Southwest Airlines flight from Nashville to Philadelphia started in a strange tone when a passenger saw a flight attendant lying in the upper compartment of the aircraft.
According to a short video made by passenger Veronica Lloyd, who was on his way back home to Pennsylvania, the caregiver can lie on her side and on her stomach with her feet out of the compartment. As passengers board, the airline employee rolls on her stomach and seems to start talking, although the video breaks off.
Lloyd told Fox News that she was “perplexed” by the woman’s actions and notes that she was “a solid 10 minutes” in the trash. “
“It was very interesting,” said Lloyd. “I think she did it to try to be funny and make the passengers laugh.”
Lloyd said that when the woman came out of the garbage, she was very nice for the rest of the flight.
Southwest said in a statement to Fox News that his employees are known for their sense of humor.
“Southwest employees are known to show their sense of humor and unique personalities. In this case, one of our flight attendants has tried to have a brief moment of fun with customers while boarding. Of course, this is not our normal procedure, and Southwest Crews always maintain safety as their top priority. “
