The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have invited a royal babysitter to help with their newborn baby boy, Archie Harrison. While the couple hopes to keep their staff member’s personal information private, HarpersBAZAAR.com has revealed that the English-born female nanny recently started her job at Frogmore Cottage. She does not live in the royal residence and does not work on weekends.
New father Harry has continued his royal duties, helping to start the countdown of the Invictus Games in the Netherlands just after Archie was born, and also travels to Italy to participate in a polematch for his charity Sentebale. Meanwhile, Meghan returned to the spotlight to celebrate the Queen’s birthday during Trooping the Color last weekend.
The duchess is expected to return to work in the fall and it sounds like she’s not doing anything in two. She and Harry are allegedly planning a two-week trip to Africa in October with their baby boy Archie. Stops on the route include Malawi, to focus on the expansion of Harry’s charity Sentebale, plus Angola, where the government is about to clear the landmines of two national parks. Visits to Botswana and South Africa are also expected to be on schedule.
Meghan will also promote the causes that are close to her when her maternity leave ends. She will appear in the September issue of British Vogue, where she will write a piece about various causes, including female empowerment. It is clear that Harry and Archie will not be part of the photo report at Frogmore Cottage.
