What is baby Archie doing nowadays? It’s been a minute since royal fans last saw him on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tour through Africa, and now the Sussex people have a new update on the latest milestones from their little man.
Prince Harry and Markle give a new Archie update
During a surprise visit with military families in their hometown of Windsor on November 6, Prince Harry and Markle were given some time to face with families of service personnel currently deployed abroad.
In the midst of chatting in the local community center, a short update about Archie was revealed – he crawls and has his first teeth!
One of the mothers who was there, Amy Thompson, whose husband Brad is in the Welsh Guards, shared with BBC News: “My daughter Aeris is as old as Archie and we were talking about weaning and the children who started to crawl – she is just a normal mother and it was like talking to a friend. “
Prince Harry noted that it would be difficult to be away from a child when they heard about the challenges military families are facing. He shared: “I can’t imagine what it is like to miss so much because they change so quickly.”
Markle also revealed that Archie now has two teeth, as she mentioned in a video that the couple placed on their Instagram account. As he spoke to a little girl, Markle shared: “Archie just has two teeth, two small ones right there,” she said, pointing to her lower gums.
When do babies get teeth and start crawling?
Archie, who is six months old, is on target for these new milestones, because Baby Center notes that “most babies shoot their first tooth somewhere between 6 and 10 months old.” The site further notes that the teeth are usually in this order come: “First the bottom two middle, then the top two middle, then the sides.”
The website for parents explains that babies usually start to crawl between 6 and 10 months. Of course this makes room to get up and eventually walk, so Prince Harry and Markle’s little one is well on his way to being very active – and keeping his parents busy while he explores.

Is baby Archie talking yet?
Baby Archie may be on the way, but he hasn’t started talking yet – although according to an insider that will happen soon. A source told us Weekly: “He is a strong baby and you can see that he is super smart. He can sit up straight and not roll over and he almost crawls. He can’t talk yet, but he’s trying. “
The insider believes that Archie’s first word will be “Dada,” as they said, “When Harry enters the room, Archie is so excited that he extends his arms – his way of saying,” Pick me up! ‘You can tell Archie to become a social butterfly. He is happiest when he is around people. “
“He is very interested in his environment and is already engaged in and interacting with people,” the source shared. “He likes to be entertained. And he’s not a needy baby – he likes going to Harry’s and Meghan’s friends without worrying. “
