The 34-year-old prince beamed while playing polo for the charity of his African children during the Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup in Rome on Friday, May 24. Harry touched the day before in the Italian capital and made his first night away from his newborn son on Thursday 23 May.
Meghan, 37, bore Archie on May 6. Two days later, the duke and duchess of Sussex pushed the press about their new roles as parents.
“It’s pretty amazing and I have the two best guys in the world so I’m very happy,” the Suits alum told reporters at Windsor Castle on May 8. Meghan added that their son is “really calm” and “the sweetest has” temperament.
Harry called his upbringing “great.”
“We are so happy that we have our own little bundle of joy and spend some precious time as it slowly starts growing up,” said the duke.
While Harry’s first trip was outside of England after the birth of Archie to Rome, an insider Us Weekly said Meghan wants to take their first child to her native Los Angeles when they are ready to travel.
“For Meghan, it is just as important for Archie to learn more about her family history as to learn about his royal ancestors, so she plans to travel with him to Los Angeles as soon as she gets him on the plane takes. ” the insider told us on 16 May.
The source also noted that the Duchess of Sussex “likes to do things her way.”
“She is a very strong woman who wants to use her role to modernize the monarchy, which is one of the reasons why she and Harry decided to reject a title for Archie,” the insider commented. “They want their son to lead a normal life.”
