Princess Eugenie is officially back in royal duty and this time she has a few helping hands.
The 28-year-old Princess of York got out for her first official joint engagement with her new husband, Jack Brooksbank, and her father, Prince Andrew. The trio visited the Royal National Orthopedic Hospital in London to open the newly built Stanmore Building.
Needless to say, they got the most out of their special occasion. The newly beaten Brooksbanks and Prince Andrew met patients and staff members of the hospital and even came face to face with a robot called Pepper.
To mark the opening of the Stanmore Building, Princess Eugenie was also called the patron of the RNOH Charity.
The Royal National Orthopedic Hospital is a cause that is closely linked to the heart and history of Princess Eugenie. Last July, the princess of York opened her fight against scoliosis in honor of International Scoliosis Day and shared details about the operation she was undergoing at RNOH to correct the condition. At the age of 12, she tolerated an eight-hour corrective operation with 8-inch bars in her back and 1.5-inch screws in her neck. She shared X-rays on social media last year to highlight the problem.
But that wasn’t the only way she paid tribute to the life-changing operation. She also famously emphasized her scars from the operation by selecting a wedding dress with a low back. It was a bold but classic look, just like the outfit that Princess Eugenie wore today.
This could be the couple’s first royal engagement, but we certainly hope it isn’t their last.
