Reality Steve’s podcast with Ashley Spivey talks about important topics

When Reality Steve is not busy giving all the important spoilers for bachelor fans, he has his own podcast. The podcast called, He Said, She Said, is usually broadcast every two months on Tuesday. With all the drama that pops up in the Peter Weber season, Steve has not been able to compile a podcast for a while. Now he’s back and this week’s co-host is Bachelor alum, Ashley Spivey.

Steve’s first question for Ashley was about her recent trip to Miami. Ashley revealed that she had booked the trip for herself as a birthday present. She turned 35 on November 7 and wanted to do something fun. In Miami, Ashley was able to hang out with former bachelor Ashley Rosenbaum and her family.

In a more serious tone, Ashley opens about the miscarriage she has suffered this year. They also only had one caller in this episode. The caller is Jessica from Texas. This is the second time they have talked to Jessica on the podcast. Jessica reveals that she and her husband have fertility problems. She decided to reach the podcast after reading Ashley’s miscarriage.

Ashley reveals that she and her husband Steve have only been trying to conceive since April. She literally became pregnant one day after she had removed her IUD. Her first appointment was super early and the doctors told her not to get too excited in case. The next appointment they could see that the fetus started to grow.

At this point, Ashley says the appointment that took place two weeks later was when she discovered the terrible news that the fetus was not growing. Ashley suffered a miscarriage. After losing the pregnancy, Ashley and Steve had to wait a while before trying to conceive again.

Ashley also shared that a thyroid problem that she has to conceive makes it a bit more complicated.

Trying to relax can be difficult when trying to get pregnant

Jessica and Ashley both agreed that it is incredibly frustrating when people say they should not emphasize that they are pregnant. Everyone is different and they both feel that people should be careful about giving advice without being asked. Ashley said she has good doctors by her side and is trying to get them to work with her problems before trying other advice that has been offered to her.

The caller, Jessica, revealed that she is suffering from endometriosis. Jessica had stage 3 endometriosis. She has undergone surgery to treat it and now hopes to become pregnant. Jessica and her husband have been trying to conceive for more than two years. She is now doing IUI trying to get pregnant.

Ashley and Jessica talk about time struggles and getting pregnant

Both ladies, although different, discuss the time problems of trying to conceive. Ashley talks about having to plan intimate time with her husband during high times of ovulation. Jessica talks about the trouble of having to take samples to the fertility clinic within a certain time. Both situations can be very stressful and not very romantic.

Jessica also spoke about the emotional side of trying to conceive. She admitted that she felt she was questioning her identity because she couldn’t conceive.

Both women will continue to try to have a baby. So many women face these struggles every day. From losing a pregnancy to struggling to get pregnant, it can be very difficult. Both Ashley and Jessica have said that they will keep everyone informed of their pregnancy journeys.
