Samantha Markle, half-sister of the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, talked about cyberbullying in an exclusive interview with Fox 13.
“It can be overwhelming,” she told the outlet.
“Sharing my address, sharing my private information, social security information, medical records and some of these trolls will literally stop for nothing,” she said.
The half-sister added that she had filed a criminal complaint with the Polk County Sheriff office asking her to investigate the cyberbullying of the past few years. The investigation is still running according to the sheriff’s office.
“There are also people who are mentally unstable who bring it to an irrational level; threats and spending their time, around the clock, obsessed with me, “said Samantha Markle. “We must be adults and agree to disagree. Just because you don’t like someone or what they have to say does not mean that you are harassing them … I don’t think it’s right for them to do it anonymously behind an avatar. “
She also spoke about her father, Thomas Markle, and his tense relationship with Meghan.
“I want them to get together and to apologize and say,” Wow, my life was trapped in a media storm, but Dad, I love you. “I’m sorry this happened,” said Samantha Markle.
Meghan and Thomas Markle have been at odds since he missed her royal wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018. Their relationship got even worse after he begged a letter from her to stop talking to the media and to stop her half-sister, who accused her of selling stories to gossip magazines.
