Season 3 of ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ Just Added a Royal to the Cast

It seems that season three of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel receives the royal treatment.

No really. Amazon has just added a new cast member to the coming season: Jazmin Grimaldi, the granddaughter of Princess Grace Kelly and the eldest daughter of Prince Albert II of Monaco.

The news broke for the first time when Grimaldi shared a deleted photo on her personal Instagram account, according to page six. On the photo was the 27-year-old who was wearing an outfit inspired by the fifties with the caption: “And that is a wrap … for now. Thank you for a MARVIOR first experience.”

Although this will be Grimaldi’s first important actor role, we are not surprised that she follows in her grandmother’s footsteps. In 2015, she sat down for an interview with Harper’s Bazaar and revealed that she hopes to continue Kelly’s legacy.

“One of my first and dearest memories of my grandmother was watching High Society,” she said. “It was the first time I realized we had a connection. I am passionate about acting, singing and dancing.”

Although no further details about the role of Grimaldi have been revealed, we have no doubt that it will be fantastic. (Sorry, had to.)

Season three of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is expected to premiere on Amazon later this year.
