She’s almost here!
Shay Mitchell is getting closer to becoming a first parent. On Sunday afternoon, the You actress and her friend Matte Babel opened about the possible due date of their baby during their joint live stream on YouTube.
During their live Q&A, a fan asked when the Dollface star was to blame, to which Matte replied, “It’s when she is due in early October.” He explained that if his little gold nugget appears at that time, they will both be Libra.
“Matte is so keen to come out and be a Libra,” the 32-year-old star told her followers on social media after her beauty had mentioned that detail.
“Yes, I want her to be a Libra,” Babel said, adding, “Because then I am surpassed in terms of gender, but we are similar in personality.” Touché.
However, the founder of Béis Travel is hopeful that her daughter will arrive earlier. She said “maybe” that her baby is coming in October or at the end of September. So although Shay did not give a good answer to her fan’s question, it is clear that she is going to pop soon.
Last month the couple heard about the gender of their baby. For their big gender revelation celebration, which they celebrated with close family and friends, the assistant of the Pretty Little Liars star recruited two Power Rangers as the main “support” for their gender revelation.
Although expectant parents were pretty sure they had a boy, they were excited to discover the gender of their baby. “Oh my god, everyone was crazy,” Shay said after they learned that she and Matte had a girl.
At the end of June the You actress surprised her followers on social media with her pregnancy. The 32-year-old star announced the exciting news and showed her growing baby bump on Instagram. “This means that I can now always ride in the lane of the swimming pool,” she wrote with her very stylized photo.
From her pregnancy, the actress has been in love with her little gold nugget. “It is a kind of surreal processing of the fact that another person is growing in you,” she wrote in the description of her YouTube video about her baby news.
“It’s exciting, nerve-racking, difficult and emotional at the same time. Everyone is waiting for the right time to make the announcement and for me it wasn’t until I couldn’t hide it anymore and was tired of wearing oversized sweatshirts,” read the description . “We are more than excited and looking forward to founding a family. I have learned so much about myself and parenting in the last 6 months and I feel that I have not even scratched the surface! It will be a wild ride!”
