As fans know, Sister Wives chronicles the life of Kody Brown and his four wives, Meri, Christine, Janelle and Robyn Brown. The Browns fled Utah for fear of persecution as fundamentalist Mormons and eventually ended up in Flagstaff, Arizona.
During the last season, fans saw the Brown family struggling with their ideals. Many have begun to believe that the wives are growing tired of their situation. In fact, the wives Meri and Christine were particularly unhappy. During the recent season of Sister Wives, Christine Brown seemed to take the COVID-19 pandemic lightly. She had even traveled around, including a trip to New Jersey. As readers know, traveling is widely considered unsafe during the coronavirus pandemic.
Because of this, Sister Wives fans were surprised when Christine Brown made a Cinco de Mayo post on Instagram. She posted a smiling image as she revealed that she had received her first vaccination. She was clearly enjoying the festivities while eating tacos and guacamole, which are apparently her favorites. However, Christine Brown added that she would “lose it like a piñata loses its candy” if she experienced side effects from the vaccine.

Sister Wives fans were quick to react to the news and many were thrilled that she was helping to fight the deadly virus. However, other fans expressed surprise that she had received the vaccine.
Apparently, many believed that the Browns were going down an uneducated path and did not believe in the virus. TLC true-life fans will no doubt remember how Christine Brown was reluctant to use a microwave oven over the complications it could cause. However, it seems that the idea of a COVID-19 vaccine didn’t worry her at all. One fan wrote, “Good for her” for protecting herself and her family and speaking out about it. Many of her followers wrote to say that they too had received their first or second shot, with some feeling a bit flustered. Many of Christine’s followers commented saying she looks great, complimenting her outfit.
