'Sister Wives': Unfortunately, It Doesn't Appear Sister Wives star Mariah Brown Will Be Home For The Holidays.

Mariah Brown will be away from her immediate family over the holidays this year, she revealed in a recent Instagram post. The 24-year-old “Sister Wives” star says she will spend Christmas in Flagstaff, Arizona with her new fiancé Audrey and her family.

“Feeling extra grateful for this one today. for taking care of me when i’m sick & loving me when i’m a towel & always having the biggest smile on your face,” she wrote.

“I’ve been struggling a little bit with spending another christmas away from my given family, but I’m so grateful that audrey has given me another amazing family that i am so lucky and excited to spend quality time with. grateful i got a great partner with great parents / family.

Janelle Brown, one of her father Kodi’s wives, said, “I’m gonna miss you so much.”

Another sister wife, Meri , said,”We’ll miss you, but I’m sure you’ll make a great Christmas together! I love you both like crazy.”

Fans had very complimentary comments for Mariah Brown. “Thank you for being such a great role model for LGBTQ youth,” someone wrote.

“Y’all are one of the cutest couples. I hope you’re feeling better and y’all have a great Christmas!” another said.

Mariah and Audrey were engaged in February after a relationship of about three years. Brown talked to MENSEN about asking the big question.

“We were in the middle of where everyone was marching and I tried to get the ring out of my pocket, where it was stuck,” she said. “I think Audrey was cutting her hair, but I just got down on one knee and said some sweet things we both can’t really remember, because we’d been trapped like this.”

Brown grew up in a very strict Mormon family, and she revealed to them in season 11 that she is gay.

Her father later tweeted the support for Mariah Brown. “God has prepared my heart and mind for 15 years. Now [Mariah] can feel safe to be openly gay with our family. I grew up in a world of terrible prejudice for the gay community. Charles Carol of Charles Dickens taught me a modern lesson,” He wrote.
