Suspect break dances before arrest following police chase in San Fernando Valley

SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, California – A chase in the San Fernando Valley ended on Tuesday evening with the driver breaking a few moves before being arrested by California Highway Patrol officers.

The chase began on the 101 Freeway eastward highway west of Mureau Road in Sherman Oaks around 9:15 PM. The driver of the white Ford Focus was, according to CHP, wanted for reckless driving.

CHP officers were able to successfully perform a PIT maneuver on the suspect’s vehicle, causing him to leak and stop on Laurel Canyon Boulevard in Pacoima.

When officers pulled their guns at the suspect, he slowly started to walk away from his vehicle. The suspect then suddenly broke out in a short dance routine while CHP officers remained patient, letting him enjoy his last moments of freedom before he took him into custody.
