Jenelle Evans has been in a much better place since she got back custody of her children, but fans don’t let her forget her mistakes. The former Teen Mom 2 star went to Instagram earlier this week to post a series of photos of herself and her family while enjoying a fun day by the river, but fans invaded the commentary sections with criticism.
“Our favorite place to play,” Jenelle Evans wrote in the caption along with a heart emoji, water emoji, and a boat emoji. She also recorded the hashtag #RiverDays.
In the photos, Jenelle Evans seemed to enjoy a relaxing time in a hammock, first posing alone and then accompanied by daughter Ensley and son Kaiser.
She also shared a photo of her older son Jace, who spent most of his life with her mother, Barbara Evans, and enjoyed fishing.
Controversial reality star fans expressed their feelings in the comments section, some accused her of abusing her children after seeing traces on Jace’s body.
“Look at those burn spots on [Jace]. Look, Jenelle Evans will try to hide it and say it happened while playing, while in reality everyone knows how to treat their children,” one fan commented. “I pray that Barbra gets custody of them all every night. Jenelle doesn’t need children, let alone animals.”
Other fans sent good thoughts in her direction and seemed to feel sorry for her after she lost her place on Teen Mom 2 because of the controversy surrounding the probable death of her dog, Nugget. After Eason confessed that he had killed the dog, Child Protective Services temporarily took the children out of the house.
“Jenelle I’m so sorry you got the shaft while you were having a hard time with your kids. I’m so kissed that everyone was there for Amber including MTV and you got fired. I mention bull shut (sic) in it,” comment .
“I don’t care what one of your haters says you’ve always been one of my favorites in the show, live, your life, everyone has ups and downs,” defended another fan.
Despite criticism from fans, Evans and Eason are closer than ever after having weathered the storm of their behavior, as she said on social media earlier this week.
Evans will be replaced in the coming season of Teen Mom 2 by Jade Cline.
