Former Teen Mom 2 Star Jenelle Evans‘ children ‘cried’ when they saw her husband, David Eason, attack her terrified boyfriend with a gun before he was arrested, a source claimed exclusively to The Sun.
David Eason, was arrested on June 12 for assault with a deadly weapon and for making threats against her friend James Spivey.
The arrest warrant obtained by The Sun stated that David “assaulted” James “with a deadly weapon, a Springfield gun, by striking James Spivey in the back of the head with the gun”.
A source close to the situation told The Sun that the couple’s daughter, Ensley, 3, “witnessed” the altercation, as well as Jenelle’s son, Kaiser, 5, from a previous relationship and David Eason’s daughter, Maryssa, 12, from a previous marriage.
The insider said, “The children witnessed the altercation, they were crying. “They saw David hit James with the gun. When he hit him in the back, if that gun had been fired, his children would have been in danger.” The children would be dead. “The CPS must be involved. The children need to be protected.”
The insider also gave more details about the altercation, which took place in the house of the estranged couple in North Carolina.
The source said, “She was afraid to go alone and needed help to get her children and her things.
When Jenelle Evans, and her friends James and Josh arrived at the residence, the situation “took a turn for the worse.
The insider continued, “When David came out of the bedroom, he was in a towel. He came back into the room and walked out in blue jeans shorts and a gun”. While the alleged victim “feared for his life”, Jenelle Evans was “relaxed”.
The source continues: “David told him he wanted to ‘f**k him’. Then he pushed him in the chest and landed on his lower back.” James, who is disabled and has lower back problems, then allegedly took a coat hanger and used it as a shield against David, who was holding the gun.
The alleged insider: “He just used it as a shield. He didn’t push him. He was defending himself.”
But David Eason had a different side to the story. As The Sun alone reported, David Eason filed a criminal lawsuit against James after his arrest.
The complaint alleged that James “assaulted David Martin Eason with a deadly weapon, a homemade forged coat hanger, pushing the victim and striking him on his left arm with a forged wood and metal coat hanger (railroad spikes). But the insider claimed that the charges were “retaliation” against James and “untrue”.
Jenelle Evans told Celebernation, who broke the arrest, following the incident: “I am trembling and saddened by this, it is time for me to leave this relationship and find happiness for my children and myself elsewhere.
She insisted that she and her children were not injured during the altercation.
Jenelle Evans also revealed her plan to file a restraining order on Monday, although the Sun can confirm that the former reality star has not filed a restraining order at this time. Jenelle revealed that she is currently at a relative’s home to be safe.
